THANK YOU to all the volunteers who joined us at the Seaside Park, Bridgeport, CT cleanup!!
We removed 1,202 lbs of trash from the beach, over 4,300 cigarette butts, 4 tires (one of which was a tractor-trailer tire which was out on the island!), Countless bottles, hoards of fishing line, and many more items!
We also want to give another thank you to Gesswein and Clark Construction of Ridgefield Inc for sponsoring the event! Thank you to Arthur's Famous Pizza House for donating the pizzas! Thank you to Rogue Comics, Pious Bird, Brewport, and Urban Bike Tours of Bridgeport for donating items for the raffle baskets. Thank you to Abbey Tent & Party Rentals for donating the use of their tables and chairs. Last but not least, thank you to our DJ, David Brantner Jr., for keeping the vibes going all event!
For anyone who missed them, Joe Ganim and State Representative Jack Hennessy both stopped by to give their heartfelt thanks to all who volunteered to clean up the beach!
